...to various electronics stores, and to the parents of some of those "cool kids" that my son told me had already taken possession of this new technical wonder. I then gathered my data, constructed my spreadsheets, and scientifically came to the only logical conclusion possible. Fuhgetaboutit!

That's right, as much I enjoyed those edge-of-the-seat moments playing the brutally demanding, and gorgeously brilliant, first person shooter, Call of Duty 2 on the Xbox 360 console at Best Buy, I decided the only logical decision at this point, was to hold steadfast and continue to have my son suffer with our existing, decaying arsenal of gaming consoles that currently litter the house from top to bottom. So what was the driving forces that led me to this unpopular (at least with my son) conclusion, you ask. Well here's the shortlist.

1. The Xbox 360 system is virtually impossible to find, and if you do, you have to buy the $800 - $1000 gaming bundle, which includes games that will surely be long forgotten in only a few short months.

2. Pretty much every video game currently offered for the new 360 system is certainly not appropriate for a 10 year old. You are limited to titles such as Dead or Alive 4 and Perfect Dark, both rated M (for mature), or at best titles such as the aforementioned Call of Duty 2, rated T (for teen).

3. Very few games released for the new Xbox 360 gaming console will be compatible on the old Xbox system.....that really irritates me!

How to Downgrade PSP From 3.50 to 1.50

...e stored on memory sticks which are not the allowed media for playing games. It would certainly not be in their best interests to allow a downgrade in firmware to 1.50. Because of the high demand for downgrades, however, several sites have begun to offer solutions, which are largely "backyard" in nature and may not have considered the impact the proposed solution on the integrity and functionality of the PSP.

Considering that the price tag is still a respectable amount, it is not advisable to allow those who are just experimenting to touch your PSP, either directly or through their solution. It is certainly better to buy authentic, follow advice from the bona fide experts, and purchase only those that are official products of Sony for your PSP.

...rible, but most of them are. The sound of a baseball bat connecting with a zombie's skull is music to my ears and the other melee weapons sound equally as cheery. However the guns in the game sound weak and pathetic.

Artificial Intelligence: 5.0/10

Zombies are dumb, that's a fact of life but this is just sad. I'm standing on top of a car shooting at a zombie and it doesn't even react. The zombies around it just stand there even though I am in plan view in front of them. Only when I actually engage the zombies back on the ground do they go into attack mode. Sometimes I even stand on the ground right in front of a zombie and it won't attack me until I shoot it once first.
